ISCO Industries and GIW Industries Announce Nationwide Partnership
(LOUISVILLE, KY) October 2008 – ISCO Industries, one of the nation’s largest distributors and manufacturers of polyethylene (HDPE) piping products, and GIW, a leader in the design of high-performance slurry pumps, are pleased to announce a nationwide partnership for ISCO to become GIW’s key or principal distributor for slurry pump sales into the sand and gravel business.
In March 2007, ISCO acquired Fraser Mining in Mansfield, Texas enabling them to expand into a sales model that offered better solutions for the aggregate market. Fraser was able to provide not only pipe and fittings, but a complete system solution to their customers. This sales model goes hand-in-hand with the goals ISCO and GIW both embody of providing their customers with complete solutions to their aggregate challenges.
In becoming the master distributor for this market ISCO is committed to inventorying GIW products in multiple locations strategically situated throughout the country. The locations were chosen to minimize freight costs and maximize customer service. ISCO has dedicated sales personnel who already have a thorough understanding of HDPE pipe and fittings, which are commonly used by the aggregate mining community. Additionally, GIW will continue consulting and training ISCO’s sales personnel on the slurry operational issues that GIW and ISCO’s customers most often experience.
