GIW Announces the Dates for the 34th Annual Slurry Course

GROVETOWN, Ga. (Dec. 3, 2010) — GIW Industries, the leader in the design, manufacture and application of heavy-duty, centrifugal slurry pumps, announces its 34th annual Transportation of Solids Using Centrifugal Pumps course.

The 2011 course will be held Jan. 31 – Feb. 4, 2011 in Augusta, Ga. Classroom sessions, including the new Total System Design, will be held at the Historic Partridge Inn. Afternoon sessions will be held at the newly expanded GIW Hydraulic Test Facility. The 2011 course will include an Open House which will give participants the opportunity to explore the specific areas that most interest them, including Material Development, Slurry Testing, one on one time with a Course Professor and more.
