Industrial Castings
GIW is a major supplier of abrasive resistant white iron castings for the electric power, cement and crushed stone industries. Over 300,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities encompass a state-of-the-art foundry and machine shop with the ability to pour and machine white iron roller tires up to 33,000 pounds. GIW has been selected by leading original equipment manufacturers to be the primary supplier of roller mill wear parts.
Pressure, Process, Mining and Industrial Machinery Castings
GIW produces the following castings:
- Corrosion-resistant alloys (stainless)
- Heat-resistant alloys (high temperature service)
- Nickel-based alloys
- Carbon steel
- Low-alloy steels
- Abrasion-resistant alloys
Castings are available as cast, premachined or finished machined.
Electric Power Industry
GIW manufacturers quality wear parts for all major ball and race and roller mill pulverizers. Parts are supplied both to the original equipment manufacturer and on a direct basis depending on the mill type.
Cement Industry
GIW has been manufacturing wear parts for the cement industry since the late 70’s. The majority of products are supplied to the original equipment manufacturers while some parts are sold on a direct basis.
