Maintenance of Centrifugal Slurry Pumps Course

Maintenance of Centrifugal Slurry Pumps will be held May 22-24, 2012, and Sept. 18-21, 2012, in Grovetown, Ga. This practical, hands-on course is designed for maintenance and operations personnel. Demonstrations include wet-end assembly, bearing housing assembly, and V-belt installation and adjustment, and are coupled with classroom instruction to help participants prevent problems before they occur.

Transportation Of Solids Using Centrifugal Pumps Course

GIW's 35th Annual Transportation Of Solids Using Centrifugal Pumps will be held March 5 - 9, 2012, in Grovetown, Ga. The course covers practical aspects, operating experiences, and economic considerations of slurry pumping, and features the revised and expanded 3rd edition of the textbook, Slurry Transport Using Centrifugal Pumps. Afternoon demonstrations held at the GIW Hydraulic Testing Facility offer visual reinforcement of the concepts taught during the lecture sessions.
